Our Spit Roast catering menus are designed for weddings, birthday parties and any other lunch or dinner celebration for large groups of people. Diamond Blue Catering will not only deliver and serve the meals at your function venue, but also supply everything from silverware and crockery to waiting staff (waiting staff at extra charge) if required. Spit roast menus are listed below and prices are based on a minimum of 35 guests.

Your Spit Roast meat is cooked at our premises and then transported to your function in insulated boxes that keep your meat piping hot. If you wish for the meat to be cooked on the spit at your function venue there is an additional charge of $100.

Main Course

  

All Spit Roast meats are served with rich gravy, jacket potatoes with sour cream, bread rolls and a choice of four salads from our salad menu.

Standard meats are beef, lamb and pork, up to two different meats can be chosen. Please note applicable charges for turkey.

  

» Spit Roast Beef - Served  with mustard and horseradish

  

» Spit Roast Pork - Served with apple sauce and gravy

  

» Spit Roast Lamb - Served with mint jelly and gravy

  

» Roast Turkey - Served with cranberry jelly and gravy (additional $1.80 per person)

  

» Vegetarian option: -(at prior arrangement)

  

» Vegetarian Pasta - Penne pasta with grilled vegetables and a tomato and basil sauce with fresh parmesan cheese

  

» Vegetarian Pattie - Freshly made vegetable and potato pattie topped with tomato concasse and  melted cheese

  

Salads (Choice of four)

  

» Fresh Garden Salad served with salad dressing

  

» Greek salad with cos lettuce, tomato, cucumber, olives and fetta cheese

  

» Caesar salad with lettuce, crispy bacon, croutons and a creamy caesar dressing

  

» Coleslaw Salad with cabbage, carrot and red onion

  

» Tuna Pasta Salad with a seeded mustard and mayonnaise dressing

  

» Country Style Potato Salad with bacon, spring onions and    capsicum

  

» Asian Noodle Salad with a mild satay dressing

  

» Mixed Bean Salad with fresh tomato and coriander

  

» Oriental Rice Salad with a soy and ginger dressing

  

Desserts (Choice of two)

  

» Baked Cheesecake - Served with a berry and passionfruit sauce and whipped cream

  

» Chocolate Profiteroles - Fresh profiteroles filled with French custard and smothered in hot chocolate sauce

  

» Fresh Fruit Salad Meringues - Seasonal fruit freshly prepared and served in individual meringues with whipped cream

  

» Mud cake - Decadent chocolate mud cake served with chocolate sauce and whipped cream

  

» Pavlova - Topped with whipped cream and fresh seasonal fruit

  

» Lemon Tart - Sweet pastry filled with a tangy lemon curd and oven baked

  

Pricing

  

» Main Course only - $16.90 per person for functions over 50 people

                              $17.90 per person for functions under 50 people  

  

» Dessert - Add $5.20 per person

  

  

Minimum of 35 people per function, GST is additional.
